Nigeria women National team got their first win at the ongoing FIFA Women World Cup in France thanks to a 2-0 win over South Korea. An own goal and a wonderful finish by Asisat Oshoala did justice to the game as the Super Falcons came out in flying colours.

There is one more group stage match to go against host France and the Nigerians would have to at least get a point to qualify to the next round as one of the best losers.
